Birdwatching in Jakarta

Jakarta as the former capital and the largest city in Indonesia has got urban forest areas, parks and coastal mangrove sites that can be visited by birdwatchers.

Mangrove forest is one of the birding sites of Jakarta. It is the place for watching such birds as:

All of them can be reached by motorized vehicles. The most convinient way is using Trans-Jakarta bus, Grab Car and Go Car.
