Balikpapan Orangutan Explorer( East Borneo ) 3Days/2Nights
Day 01: Balikpapan Airport – Samboja Lodge
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport and proceed to Samboja Lodge by car about 1 hour driving then late afternoon available observe the Orangutans around the lodge. Dinner at Samboja Lodge.
Day 02: Trekking - Orangutan Island
After breakfast then trekking to plant the fruit trees to support the foundation for supply of food the future for the Orangutans, observe the Orangutans around the lodge, and also the other animals in Borneo Sun Bear.
This area is strictly for the Orangutans survival foundation, which has been developing since 1992 in East Kalimantan, now at Samboja Lodge has about 210 Orangutans that been released into 6 islands around Samboja Lodge.
Day 03: Samboja Lodge – Airport Balikpapan– Next Destination
Early morning, we will go for trekking available around the lodge for feeding time about 06.45am and then return to the Lodge. Transfer to Airport for your next destination.
