TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 01: Pangkalan Bun Airport – Kumai – River Safari Tours (L, D)
Take a flight from (Banjarmasin, Pontianak, Surabaya, Semarang or Jakarta) where will fly to Airport of Pangkalan Bun in Central Borneo/Kalimantan by TRIGANA or KALSTAR AIR. Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun Airport, you will be picked up by our staff and take you to Port of Kumai’s River by a car for 20 minutes and then you will board on the traditional boat to proceed your eco’s trip to reach National Park of Tanjung Puting area about for 2 hours. This boat is river’s boat with an engines, it is made from iron wood and specialist for tourism industry. The boat is made with 12mtr (lenght) and 2.5mtr (width) with a roof on upper deck where you can view the natural of rainforest. The local people called it by KLOTOK. We will explore the river by Klotok slowly to observe wild animals and natural environment along the river side. There are Proboscis Monkeys, macaques, any kind of birds and other wild animals will greet you in the middle of Borneo rain forest. Boat’s facilities are simple cabin with mattress, pillow, blanket, meals, mineral water, mosquito net, kitchen and toilet. You can choose to take meals and stay overnight on Boat for cheapest of tour’s price or at Rimba Lodge for a more comfortable accommodation with tour’s price higher.
Day 02: Orangutan Tours to Pondok Tangguy & Camp Leakey (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will travel up the river by Boat to see Orangutan feeding time at 09:00 in Pondok Tanggui Feeding Station then proceed to Camp Leaky feeding station to see other feeding time and orangutan education center at 14:00. Before, we arrive in both of feeding stations you can observe river ecology and enjoy your lunch on boat while you see kind of wild animals on the river side (Proboscis Monkeys, Birds, Sun Bears, Kind of Macaque and Wild Orangutan). You can also enjoy sunset time with view natural of rain forest as long as river side, when you are on the way back. Having dinner and overnight stay on Boat or Rimba Lodge.
Day 03: Pondok Tangguy & Borneo Jungle Trekking to Pesalat (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will cruise up the river to the Pondok Tangguy feeding station and continue to do full day trekking from Pondok tangguy to the Pesalat reforest station. We will pass swamp rain forest and camping ground with natural jungle trekking view. It takes about 6-7hours trekking and across for about 13KM of Borneo rain forest. We will be accompanied by expert guide, ranger and porter. During this trip, we will search and observe wildlife, (the forest you will pass mostly is second grow forest but quite interesting). Lunch will be served in middle of the forest and tent will be set up for overnight and having dinner.
Day 04: National Park – Pangkalan Bun Airport (B)
After breakfast, we will escort you to Kumai port then proceed to Pangkalan Bun Airport to catch flight for your next destination

For cheapest price and to get much more opportunity to see wildlife in this area you can stay overnight on boat where on upper deck you can enjoy natural view of rainforest and in the morning you will fell the sweetest greeting from any kind of birds and other wild animals such as macaques, proboscis monkeys, orangutans while you enjoy breakfast with coffee or tea.
