Manado what to do?

Manado is the capital of North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It is the main gate for visitors who want to spend their holiday in Bunaken National Marine Park, or in Lembeh Strait. Manado is also the destination for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts who want to go to Tangkoko Nature Reserve or Mount Mahawu. 

For visitors who only have got half day or 1 full day in Manado city, they could take a tour to some interesting places inside and at the outskirts of the city. 

Bersehati Market - This is a traditional market that is located near public boat pier to Bunaken islands. Visitors could see various kinds of products that are being traded by city dwellers from agricultural produce such as vegetables, fruits, pork, and fish to high-tech gadgets such as cell phones and wireless loudspeakers.

Public Boat Pier of Bunaken - Visitors could visit the pier to see economic activities of local people that arrive from or leaving for Bunaken islandsmn

Ban Hing Kiong Temple (meaning Palace of Abundance) of Manado city - The temple was built according to the traditional Chinese architecture and is used as a place for worshipping Goddess of the Sea. It is within walking distance from the traditional market of Bersehati. 

State Museum of North Sulawesi is another tourist attraction in Manado city which visitors could visit to see historical events and artefacts from tribes that live in North Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. Visitors will be able to follow the historical events and cultural stories that have been shaping the modern people of North Sulawesi Province.
