Manado city is the capital of the Province of North Sulawesi in the Republic of Indonesia. It is the flight destination for tourists who are interested in taking a marine tour in Bunaken islands for scuba diving and snorkeling; as well as wildlife tour in Tangkoko Nature Reserve and Minahasa highland for watching birds, mammals, reptiles and insects.

Visitors could see the goods that are traded by city dwellers from fish and vegetables to electronic gadgets such as powerbanks and cell phones. It is a good attraction for tourists but they have to be prepared with the dirty and smelly alleyways inside the market. The nearby Ban Hing Kiong Chinese Temple is also worth visiting.
- Museum of Manado is the place for visitors who want to see the culture and history of peoples in North Sulawesi. Visitors could see statues of traditional tribes, stone, wooden and metal tools, weapons, earthen ware and ceramics, fabrics that are used by local people since ancient to the present times.
